What happens to hormones...

... after they have done their job? Are they simply excreted in the feces, urine, or whatever excretory product the animal happens to use? Is that why feces and urine are often used in hormone analysis?

i answer the last question.-the fact i do not understand these question, but only try to answer.
... the two question.. i do not understand what u want to say to us.
feces and urine, actually the compound within it, can be use to hormones analysis. just look at the relation between the occur, the composition of the product of secretory. mainly to urine(e.g diabetes militus)
