What exactly should I do regarding grad school?

Postby jungleman67 » Mon Oct 28, 2013 3:36 pm

I'm from long island, NY, and I graduated from RPI in May with a bachelors in Bioinformatics and Molecular Biology. I don't have a good gpa - 2.96 - and haven't gotten a job. I'm thinking of applying to grad school but a lot of them have a 3.0 gpa requirement. I haven't taken the GRE yet. How should I get into grad school? And also, what should I master in? I don't know what employment is like for bio masters. Should I get a masters in bioinformatics? Molecular Biology? A related field? Or a completely different field altogether like physics or information systems? http://www.forbes.com/sites/jacquelynsm ... right-now/
Math is a strong point for me so is biostatistics a viable option? Thank you.
