Crossing-over

Postby myst » Sat Aug 24, 2013 3:12 pm

Hi guys. I was wondering if someone with good biology background can perhaps put my mind to rest with this question. It says Crossing-over involves the exchange of genetic information between which of the following: sex chromosomes, sister chromatids, chromatids, homologues. I chose homologues seeing the answers should be non-sister chromatids but research suggests homologous chromosomes. The closest I get to this is the latter. Can someone perhaps assist me or clarify? Will really appreciate.
