Ideas for Biology project

could any of you have any ideas for a "topic about biology" is for a project that i'm doin but i dont seem to come up with interesting topics. so someone help.

I researched cancer in my science essay and my group did experiments on reaction timing.

Growth curves, Resistance to antibiotics, Phages.
Easy to do, getting bacteria is not a problem and you can store all the experiments in the fridge (until the rest of the family finds out)

Getting bacteria not a problem? You certanly haven't lived in Romania. And where can you find phages?

Some of my friends did a bio project on bacteria. Some compared different bacteria you can find around you everywhere, others got their from the Biology teacher. E.Coli is not Salmonella and there is no reason why a high school student wouldn't be able to work with it. The rest depends on the facilities you have at school and the willingness of the teacher to help.

I heard one scientist used a river as a source of phages.

Well, the only place where i ever saw E.coli cultures was at the national research center. and that place is not exactly accesible. there are guys who wear cheap suits and sunglasses at night at the door checking you for firearms(as someone would want to steal the bacteria)

For those who asked me what grade i was in, well i;m a college student. and the project is not a paper, is a poster. meaning that i would also need some interesting pictures that calls to your attention. even though some of the ideas seem pretty cool but you know just little bit more interesting. and what is the H5N-1 thing. i know i suck at biology.

H5-N1 is well known in the media as the asian flu virus...
