Suppose we decode the laws

Postby ps2huang » Tue Nov 15, 2005 6:11 am

First of all, how long we will meet the service that the therapist just need a single cell of yours, to cultivate a new tissues or organs which you need to be cured in hospital?
And if cloning and stem-cell on embryonic allowed, how long would it take that we can, like cosmetic surgery, to replace new internal organs and hormones in order to keep us younger?

And human cell stop making by 25, is there a way that can give your body producing cells unlimitedly?

Who remember some scientists that said nowadays human having potential to live up to 1'000 old, if no disease, sympton and accident occured?

even if we can make organs, that's kinda hard to live forever, unless you are replacing every single cell in the body.
as we age, our gene become more mutated and that's pretty hard to fix.

Also don't forget about loss of neurons in the brain. We can't replace those individially, and even if we could transplant an entire brain, we effectively would be destorying what makes up the person in the first place and replacing it with another person.

Ugh, that sounded too sci-fi-ish to me.
