Differentiating media for yeast

Postby choozi » Tue Jul 16, 2013 5:29 pm

Hi...

Can anyone tell me the media which can be used to differentiate between different strains of yeast (e.g. different strains of S.cerevisae). I have used PDA for growth but colony morphology of all the strains seems alike. Kindly help me if any such media is available to differentialte on colony morphology basis.

Thanks.
