There was a thought some time ago that AIDS might be cured by itself. (See here http://www.sciencemag.org/cgi/content/f ... /5366/1073)
This group is still working on the subject of course but others now think that it wasn't really AIDS but something that looked just like HIV, but wasn't quite the real thing.
Personally I don't think AIDS can be spontaneously cured.

If it can be cured automaticly, I believe free-sex will be more.. :lol:
Um, these are the AIDS antiviral to make sure that they're nearly impossible to be auto-cured.

A friend of mine told me about this guy today. I don't know what to say. Knowing that a false positive is posible, i wouldn't be to sure..

What I think is like this...(remember the "nearly" word there)
Immune system is just like our defending system for pathogenic organisms or pathogenic non-living things...then, what will you expect if one platoon of your immune system which is T-cell (whether it's the T-cytolytic or T-helper) get assasinated by such modern agent??

Tc and Th hold the important stage of immune system which is as a killer for an infected cell (Tc) or as a signal transductor between Tc, B-cell or non-specific immune system (Th). How the immune system will be coordinated synergically if those two are gone??
