can some one tell me what the different between c-metaphase and metaphase? :D

Please check with your teacher after reading this...I am fairly certain this is accurate, but not completely

C-metaphase is when colchicine is introduced into the nucleus to hold the cell in the metaphase period for longer periods of time to be able to study in the microscope.
