Wobble theory and transposonshey guys! i need urgent fast reeplies! i have 2 questions!
Q1: According to the wobble rules, the correct amino acid can be added to a growing polypeptide chain even if the third base in an mRNA codon does not correctly match the corresponding base in a tRNA anticodon. How do the wobble rules and the redundancy of the genetic code relate ============ Q2Describe the difference between a simple and composite transposon in bacteria. Which could help bacteria adapt to new environments? Explain how. ................. please help me out

this is because the base doesnt need tto amtch the corresponding base because it is not reaaly needed. this proves that that code is already sumwhere else, thus the redundancy CUZ EVERYBODY NOE THAT THE GAME DONT STOP TRY TO MAKE IT TO THE TOP
Q1--only first two base are sufficient to code for the the required amino acid,the third base is present so that the mRNA can get properly attached to the tRNA.hence even though the third base does not match due to mutation or otherwise the correct amino acid can still be added to the growing polypeptide chain.got it.
wobble hypothesis and transposonswobble hypothesis is not just random base pairin at the third site.if so, how do u think the machinery knows which aminoacid to select?for instance,serine &arginine?(they differ only by the third base)
uracil can only wobble with A and G.there are such restrictions for the wobbling of other bases.check it out,they wobble in such a way that the amino acid doesn't change!!!
