DOOM ON YOU! DOOM ON YOU!
*Remembering the cartoon "Ice Age"* "As a biologist, I firmly believe that when you're dead, you're dead. Except for what you live behind in history. That's the only afterlife" - J. Craig Venter
Actually, it was humans that hunted the dodo into extinction. Unsurprisingly, there was a species of tree that became extinct at the same time. The dodo would eat the Mauritian "calvaria"tree's seeds, then the seeds would travel through the bird's digestive system, coming out the other end in it's own packet of fertilizer. The bird and tree shared a symbiotic relationship...commensalism to be more exact. The tree depended on the dodo to reproduce. When man killed off the last dodo, they doomed the calvarias as well.
