Discussion of everything related to the Theory of Evolution.
I agree, the vast majority of folks who appose biological evolution don't understand it.
In short, this precludes any intermediate steps. Before there was life there was proto-life, something that isn't quite living but has some of the qualities of life, which itself spawned from an organic "soup" (figuratively speaking). As these qualities develop the boundary between life and non life gets fuzzy, just the way it does with viruses. And just the same as evolution works today, it's all incremental gradual change over time.
Also, what exactly does preexisting subsystem even mean? All it seems to be is more irreducible complexity gibberish.
