Is genetics causes arthritis?

I am suffering with arthritis knee pain,my mom also have been suffering with this same problem.Is there any chances to get arthritis pain by genetics.

Depending on which kind of arthritis. The rheumatoid kind is, with immune system problems. Gout is genetic. But the osteo kind, well thats a little different.
