Repeat atlas

Postby NCC » Sat Oct 22, 2005 10:11 pm

I am studying on a genome atlas about a member of Lactobacilli and I find a specific region where both the global direct/inverted repeats and local repeats are at large value.I am curious to know what does it mean and reflect. Can anyone help me about it?

I'm new at this. :)

thanks
