why most poeple have a longer lefthand than their righthand

is that due to the fact that most people are righthanded, using the righthands more freguently,so the righthands become shorter?

do infants have the same lenghth of their hands?do lefthanded people tend to have longer right hands than their lefthands?

what's the causeation of being shorter and being used more frequently?or is there some other reason causing both two(e.g.genetic reason causing one hand to be shorter than the other,and causing the owner to tender to using the formmer more frequently?

I know that we have a leg shorther than other, even if the difference is very low, but i haven't heard yet that we have a hand shorter than other.

but, as i know it works on elephant.
u know it's "horn"(kind of its tooth-i forgot the right name)
but in my mind i think that the righthanded men ussually have a stronger right hand than the left. it's just a prediction.

well,three of us measured the hands of 30 boys and 30 girls.They all have a little bit longer left hands(we didin't expect that)but the difference is so small.I am not sure whther it is the fact,maybe it was just due to the mearuement error?

does the sample include different races? different nutrition types? There are numerous variables when dealing with human subjects. You should first increase your sample size. n=30 males, 30 females is not quite enough to extrapolate the information to the entire human population.

using inferential statistics(standard deviation et. al) you can see whether your difference is significant or conicidental.

And you have to look at the fact of which hand are they more dominant with, that could play a slight factor, but enough to taint your results!

First of all, you said you tested boys and girls. Obviously they haven't been using their hands for all that long, so why would you even consider that as one of the possibilities. Based on your alleged "experiment" it would have to be genetic.

Second of all, 30 boys and 30 girls is by far not enough to show any real evidence that one hand is "shorter" than another.
