These come to mind.

genetics
organic chemistry (chemistry major's year sequence)
biochemistry (chemistry major's year sequence)
microbiology
cell biology
molecular biology
recombinant DNA techniques
microbial genetics
molecular genetics
plant physiology
evolution
instrumental chemical analysis
statistics
bioinformatics
programming (for instance, C++ or a similar language)
technical writing

Likely you won't find courses with exactly these names in the course catalog of your school, but try to get some exposure in these topics.

Thank you for making the effort to go over this, Personally i think strongly about this and love learning more about this subject. If at all possible, while you gain expertise, can you mind upgrading your site with increased information? It's very useful for me personally.
