Restriction enzyme - I think my teacher made a mistake. The vector is a circular molecule containing a total of 5730 bp. It has sites for the restriction enzymes SstI, EcoRI and HindIII located at the following positions:
EcoRI position 42 SstI position 218 HindIII positions 328 and 5518 An EcoRI/SstI fragment (1350 bp long), containing the chicken virus X ns5 gene, was cloned into the vector, which had also been cut with PstI and EcoRI. (The chicken gene fragment replacing the smaller segment of plasmid DNA between these restriction enzyme sites). Where is says Pstl, isn't it meant to be Sstl?
