interesting isn't it ? my thesis last year was about the cell cycle and tumorpathogenesis
an easy way to remember the stages of the cell cycle is I P on the MAT, C.
If you think of it that way(and what a stupid way it is, but it works, I almost aced the test because of that) it should be easier. I is for Interphase(G1,S,G2), P on the MAT is for Mitosis(Prophase,Metaphase,Anaphase,Telophase), and C is for Cytokinesis. This really helped me. Fortunately, we're now out of that, and into Cell Behavior(thank GOD). I hated having to memorize all the kinases and CDK's, as well as the different chemicals and molecules.
