Can prions change the shape of gelatin into a prion? Why or

Prions are infectious proteins (misfolded proteins) found in animals. It caused by ingestion of contaminated meat. Basically, ground up bones/waste meat were used as protein supplement for livestock (dead cattle ingesting alive cattle), it allowed prions to move freely thus starting a disease such as most popular one mad cow disease.
Now gelatins are derived from collagen(proteins) obtained from various animal by-products (hides etc.)


Please help???

To my knowledge, they can change only other prion protein, thus unless there is some prion protein in gelatin (which I doubt), it should not be a threat.
