Hallo everyone

I have two question
11.How miosis occur in haploid organisms?
2.I have a problame to understand the term allel, is two genes together are allel?

1. during mitosis it doesn't matter, whether an organism has 3 or 50 chromosomes, whether is it diploid or haploid
2. alleles are different versions of one gene, i.e. located on single locus (physical part of chromosome)
