Animal Genetics, word problems

Postby Cathy1988 » Wed Sep 05, 2012 3:44 am

I'm stuck on a homework problem and can't find anywhere to help me with setting it up..

In a herd of 200 cows, 140 are black and 60 are red. What is the probability of a black cow??

 What does this have to do with biology? It could as well be about balls or anything

You have 140 black cows and 200 cows in total. So what's the probability? Do you know how to calculate the probability?

Cis or trans? That's what matters.

It should be 140/200 for the black cow probability and it z related to probability in maths nd not genetics.
