Like someones opinions on my answers for following questions. The were correct of false statements.

1) Since only the dominant allele is expressed in heterozygous, the dominant trait will always be greater in frequencies than the recessive.
My answer: It will depend on the frequency of the recessive allele in a particular population. The dominant allele may be rare.

2) Since alleles always segregate in a 1:1 ratio, a population will tend to reach an equilibrium in which half of the individuals will be heterozygous.
My answer: No, even though HW equation says 2pq, again it will depend on the frquencies of p and q alleles.

Anyone help or enlighten me if Im wrong
