Lowry method's wavelength choice

dear users,
I'm on my research about bacterial protease isolation and assay now. I'm about to take an assay to total protein content by Lowry method. I'm searching the best protocol for the method, that is, I found the assay's wavelegth usually used lie from 500 - 750 nm. What is the consideration of choosing the wavelength, anyway. Will the result be different if I use different wavelength. I should have some reasons of taking such wavelength of course. I'm assaying Pseudomonas sp crude enzyme, by the way.

The best way is to take the wavelength with maximum absorbance. But sometimes there may be some interference and in such case you will need to choose another wavelength.
