Evolution of life historiesHey guys,
Got another question What can you tell me about the evolution of life histories? <-- If my professor is going to ask me this question during my oral exam, I really don´t have a clue what to answer. If there is someone with an idea or suggestion I´d be happy to read it Many thanks, Bernd90
what are the advantages of each? for example, look up "r-selected organisms" and "k-selected organisms." Each of these have distinct trade offs involving energy and success of passing on genes.
Re: Evolution of life historiesI feel the purpose of life histories is the "want" and "desire" to live and establish in each individual...thats the only thing which resulted in "today"
hope you get what i said ADITYA
Re: Evolution of life historiesHey guys,
Thanks for your advice. Particularly mentioning r- and k- strategists was a good point I believe However, what I actually wanted to find out about is whether there is a list of evolutionary stages that shows how different life histories came about. I hope you know what I mean. Please feel free to write whatever you find helpful regarding my problem. Thanks again
