The hearthi.i really need help with stuff about the human heart:
what two sounds are discernible when the heart functions?? what causes those sounds?? what is hypertension and what consequences does it have on the heart? what factors increase the risk of heart attack??
you could probably find answers to your last two questions on google.

definition of hypertension:
Persistently high arterial blood pressure. Hypertension may have no known cause (essential or idiopathic hypertension) or be associated with other primary diseases (secondary hypertension). This condition is considered a risk factor for the development of heart disease, peripheral vascular disease, stroke and kidney disease. effects of hypertension on the heart: >>Hypertension and your heart Hypertension causes your heart to work much harder than it should because it has to compensate for the increased blood pressure. Like any muscle that increases in size with use, the heart increases in size. Left untreated, this eventually leads to the left ventricle of the heart increasing in size, which will ultimately lead to congestive heart failure. This combined with arteriosclerosis, leads to ischaemic heart disease. http://www.health24.com/medical/Conditi ... ,16731.asp Risk Factors for Heart Attacks: - http://www.americanheart.org/presenter. ... ifier=4726 - http://www.wrongdiagnosis.com/h/heart_a ... actors.htm - http://www.bayeraspirin.com/ha_riskfactors.htm "I know how exciting pillaging is," the giant said fondly, ruffling Jack's hair. even affecting the lungs can cause heart failure.
for example, emphysema is a disease in which the alveoli r ruptured due to thinning of lung tissue due to inhaling cigarette smoke, irritant fumes. because of less area available, the heart has to pump blood more to oxygenate the blood.an overstrained heart may lead to heart failure and death
