Life without Viruse Fungi and animalsWhat would life on earth be like if there were no: viruses, fungi and animals ?
Earth without animals would be earth without humans too, since we are also of the animal kingdom. Many plants would die without symbiotic fungi. We don't know the good of viruses, but perhaps they assist in many ways, not the least being keeping a balance in overpopulations of different species? Obviously viruses specific to animals would likely die when their preferred hosts did, unless they could rapidly mutate to utilize some remaining species for life.
At any rate we wouldn't be here to take not of such a world, so the idea is a sort of fantasy, unless you are thinking of the world not so long after the theorized big bang...
