hmm what happens if auxin promotes apical dominance, then it cant grow anymore due to the limiting space?
So lateral growth wont start, the apical bud will probaby just bend due to the circular shape of the petri dish?
Also what other aspects of the plant growth and development that are regulated by auxin ? In your response, you MUST include how its action would differ for different cell tpyes/ environmental stimuli?
Btw , when a plant responds to an environmental stimulus, what is this action called? A: Tropism.
And what are the 2 ways in which the plant respond to a stimulus: Negative and positive.
