Qs: protein synthesis, plant, animal ,and eukaryotic cellsI'm correcting one my of tests and looking for answers so I can study for finals.
I couldn't find any answers in my text. Any help would be appreciated. 1. In the process of protein synthesis, an enzyme will trigger a sequence of triplets of bases that encodes a protein, which is called a ______, to unzip from the segment of the DNA to produce a mRNA. This process is also called _______.. Then the mRNA will be decodes by the ______, and this step is called _____. 2. Specialized substructures, such as chloroplasts in plant cells and ____ in animal cells, are called ____ in eukaryotic cells.
Honestly, I have problems to see what they want. But let's try.
no idea probably transcription ribosome? probably translation I will only say that the second is probably "semi-autonomic" http://www.biolib.cz/en/main/
Cis or trans? That's what matters.
Re:
I thought number 1 was gene as well. But I apparently I got marked off by it (I think). No idea, my professor has a weird hand writing.
Re: Re:
Well, other sources tell me that it's a codon. Any verification would help though. Not 100% sure.
Re:
Ah. Thanks.
Thank you all for helping me out. I know where to go now for help. It's great to see Average Joes helping other people out. Awesome.
