What's the chemical reaction catalysed by nitrate reductase?subject says it all really. i have been reading about the difference in energy released as per this chart http://i.imgur.com/ug3uF.png . I assume that in aerobic organisms the chemical reaction would be
(NADH + H + 1/2O2) -> (NAD+ + H2O) but how does this work with nitrite reductase in anaerobic respiration?
And where is the nitrate in your reaction?
Just pick your favourite http://www.googlesyndicatedsearch.com/u ... b%2Fenzyme http://www.biolib.cz/en/main/
Cis or trans? That's what matters.
