Artificial phosphorylation by using different detergents

Is it possible that using of different detergents (for isolation of lipid microdomains) has any influence on different phosphorylation of proteins in signaling pathways? Thanks for your anwers

It will affect which proteins you will extract, thus you may get different pattern, although the material will be the same.

Thanks :-) And is it possible that some signaling pathways, which are investigated, can be described with mistakes due to using of different detergents :shock: ? Is there any publication about it?
