None of you are claiming that the evolution of species has actually been proven by science, correct? I say this because it appears as though some of the people here actually believe that, and I just wanted to make sure.

What specific question are you asking? In particular, what precise definitions for "evolution," "species," "proven," and "science" would you like to use?

There are no "proofs" in biology. In understanding or explanation of phenomema, here are hypotheses and theories, with evolution being one of the most sigbificant of the latter.
