What is "blindedarmonsteking" in English? I met someone on the internet who said his brother was in the hospital with this problem. I asked him if it was an injury or a disease, and he said that it involves removing some of his brother's 'guts'. He doesn't know how to say the word in English and I couldn't find any translator program that could help. So if there are any Dutch speakers out there, please translate this word for me.

The part of his guts that were removed was his appendix since it was inflamed in an appendicitis for which they performed the appendectomy. take care weesper
