Microparticles and flow cytometryHi,
I've been given several flow cytometry profiles to analyse for a piece of work and I'm slightly confused about one of them. ![]() So far I've worked out that it shows microparticles (I think!) and I know that more side scatter means a more complex cell and that Annexin binds to phosphatidylserine but I'm not sure how to interpret it any further than that. I've been told it comes from someone with a disease (which I have to work out) so I thought maybe I could compare it to the same FC profile for a healthy person but I haven't been able to find one. Any pointers would be hugely appreciated! Thanks!
[Shamed mod note] Arggghh! due to a bad manipulation I erased an answer to this post for no reason. May the author forgive a tired mod and please repost his/her answer. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry! [/Shamed mod note]

I have a question regarding flow cytometry too!!! Please heeelp. I have a lot of questions based on the cytometry pictures, where they ask to calculate percentage of dead cells, or of CD45R etc. Does anyone know how to guide me through the correct answer???
