Origin of scare

Postby jfolpf » Tue Feb 21, 2012 12:32 pm

Good day

I’ve searched throughout the internet and I couldn’t find any theory for the origins of scare, or fright. I suppose it has to do with some kind of evolutionary protection human specie assimilated. I suppose this quick reaction body makes had a purpose of protection when individuals faced predators suddenly.

Can you kindly tell me shortly and briefly if I am correct, and if I’m not, can you kindly give the true origin.

Thank you

you're not really wrong, it's just that these reflexes are not stipulated to humans

What do you mean when you say that those reflexes are not stipulated to humans?

You might be interested in the "fight or flight" reaction and its evolution. It is a very primitive reaction found in most living being, not only humans.

But scare is particularly interesting because the body reacts very quickly with an injection of adrenalin in the blood.
It is not predicted or prepared as a fight may be, but I'll search for what you've told me.

But if you could give me some extra info I'd appreciate it a lot

Thank you

Do not think about fight as what you see in Tv with the gong and jumping around yourselves etc.

I know, I suppose it was more violent, and less predicted, though the stimuli created by scare are particularly interesting...
