Post Finasteride Syndrome - A Silenced AR signal

The folks at the propeciahelp board are desperately trying to cure themselves of Post Finasteride Syndrome (PFS). PFS seems to be a case of a silenced AR signal. Men took propecia ( finasteride 1mg) for hairloss to block DHT. When they stopped, the DHT came flooding back. The androgen receptors were hypersensitive to the DHT, causing a negative autoregulation, effectively silencing the AR signal. What are possible treatment options to reactivate the AR signal?
