Misterious brazillian fruit

Hello. I'm brazillian and I work with a priest who studies medicinal herbs and plants. We stumbled upon this one plant and we have no idea how it is called. All we know is it's stinky and we are crazy to know more about it. These are some pictures of the fruit (the priest I work with always reffers to it as fruit).
