Careers in Biology FieldHello,
I'm curious about something. I am very intersted in biology, and when we start a new chapter everything is amazing to me. I really love it. My teacher realized this early on and we talked one day about me having a career in biology. She was happy that I wanted to go down that route, but concerned. She says that there is not a big demand for biologist, and jobs would be few and far between. She went to school to be a botanist, mainly in forestry. She had no luck finding a job, and became a teacher. I wouldn't mind teaching, but I would like to do other things. So what do you guys think? Are Biologist positions becoming harder to find? Thanks, Trevor
Highly depends on what kind and level of biology you do.
Anyway numbers of new biologists (and people of related subjects) produced annually is growing each year, so yes, the positions may not be available wildly. http://www.biolib.cz/en/main/
Cis or trans? That's what matters.
