How to design DNA chip?

May I know how to design the DNA chip? What are the basic parameter I have to consider? The DNA chip will be used in microfluidic chamber for cells analysis.

the probes should be enough specific to discriminate even between homologous genes (or at least combination of probes should)

Thanks for sharing your valuable thought, There are two different types of DNA micro arrays widely in use at present, one made up entirely of short, synthetic oil go nucleotides and second is made up of strands of complementary DNA , Each can be used successfully to screen for changes in gene expression. The critical features of their production is to have a high quality source of the DNA itself, and the other is to have the technology to produce the slides onto which the samples are spotted. Robotic technology under highly controlled circumstances is most often used to produce the small droplets that are spotted in a gridded pattern onto the slides.
