Keratinocyte, Melanocyte, Langerhan's, and Merkel CellsI was studying about the 5 layers of the epidermis today, (corneum, lucidum, granulosum, spinosum, basale) and I just had a question about the 4 cells involved in these layers of the epidermis (Keratinocyte, Melanocyte, Langerhan's, and Merkel Cells).
Are each of these cells in *every* strata? Or do some of the layers not include some? I do know for sure that the top two layers have keratinocytes, but do they also have melano, langerhan, and merkel? Any help would be appreciated.
