Cancer, Cyclin, and Cdks..I am a junior in high school taking an A.P. Bio course. We are reading about the workings of mitosis, and i read in my textbook that mitosis is regulated by cyclin-dependent kinases, that bind with cyclin to form MPF's. It goes on to say that the cyclin part is degraded during anaphase, if the cyclin is never degraded and the MPF stays intact could this result in a cancer-like repetition of mitosis??? plz help..
