KDEL Protein question

Hi, just a quick question regarding pathways and transport...
If a protein containing the KDEL sequence was injected into the cytoplasm, what would happen to that protein (hint:think about the structure of the cell)? And explain why. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
