I'm completely lost and do not know how to answer this question?? Please help :(


"Suppose a chemist develops a new drug that neutralizes the positive charges on the tails of histone proteins. What would be the most likely effect of this new drug on chromatin structure? Do you think that this drug will have any affect on gene expression? Explain."

what is the purpose of the positive charges on histones? (think of charges on DNA)
