I'm familair with classification of (bacterial) hemolysis based on observations of sheep blood agar cultures of bacteria where greeen is considered alpha attributed to chemical changes of hemoglobin (actual rbc lysis may not occur), beta for complete hydrolysis and clearing and gamma - effectively no observable effect.
