butterfliesHi
I have a few friends who are really scared of butterflies (which i find very strange!!) and i was just wondering if there was any way in which butterflies could hurt a person? Cheers! "Always remember that you are unique. . . just like everybody else."
The hairy caterpillars can iritate skin if you touch them and some adult butterflies (and their cattepillars too) are poisonous and can cause problems to small animals if they swallow them, although they also have bitter taste so animls avoid them. So if your friend doesn`t swallow a kilo or two there`s no danger. I wonder what is the scientific name for that fobia? Lepidopterofobia?!
