Is growth a type of movement?I need someone else's opinion. Is growth a type of movement?
Is growth movementGrowth and movement are both parts of developement. Growth must obviously occure for an organism to get larger and therefor reach a later stage of developement but migration of cell is also a vital aspect of developement (especially during embryonic or early developmental stages).
Re: Is growth movement
growth is multiplication of cells and therefore not a movement. Migration of cells also takes place, but is not a process of growth itself. (in your example, the migration of the neural crest is very important for many differentions in the human foetus)
i think growth is kind of movement. hei.. it's just oppinion(any oppinion always right, isn't it?) ______________ woke at the day i saw you, guys, talking together i just wanna to join the fun
I think growth can be a type of movement, but only in some cases. here is what i am thinking of: tropisms-oriented growth in plants. In my botanics books, they are under the lesson: The movements of plants

Well, growth is a form of motion, but I do not think it is a form of movement, as the actual location of a plant growing does not change due to its growth.
I didn't say the plant moves. It's parts move
