Yes i feel it is the State of the Art Technology.

Similar to Cellphones - mobile(wireless) communication device, Portable Medical instruments are a great asset to Doctors/Surgeons in different fields of Medicine viz Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Neurology, Cardiology etc.

Reason : It is not necessary that the Patient/s has to come to the Clinic/Hospital for ailment Diagnosis, Checkups. So in this case the Doctors with the help of Portable Medical Instruments can carry those medical instruments while visiting them (Patients) in their Residences, Offices/Corporates, Hotels etc.

Most important feature of Portability is Lightweight. Portable Instruments work on Batteries.
