Congenital Blindness - Hereditary Disease ?

Congenital blindness-is it hereditary or genetic ?

If a blind couple i.e born blind at birth had a child, would it be also born blind ?

i.e both parents are born blind - congenital blindness, the child born from them i.e offspring will also be born blind ?
