Increasing Maximum Life Span of Pets.

Postby prashantakerkar » Sat Oct 15, 2011 7:05 am

We know a Cat, Dog's Maximum Life span say 30 years. Ideally if we come out with a
New Medicine which will increase the aging process of our pets, say from 30 to 50
and above, would you like as a Pet Owner, Veterinary Doctor, Veterinary Surgeon ?

I personally would love to try this new medicine when my cat or dog has become old say 20 years + and this is also applicable to stray dogs /cats. The reason for this is if we try out the medicine on a young dog /cat of say 10 years old and if the medicine caused adverse affects to the animal, then i feel it will be cruelty to animals.

By Studying the Anatomy of Cat, Dog and other Pets, similar to Human Anatomy, can we achieve this in 21st century ?

Should We ?. I Feel Yes !!!

Horse, Bird, Rabbit Anatomy

Similar to Human Ultracell Antiaging vaccine, shouldn't we come with Antiaging vaccines for Pets ?

I really dont understand this concept. I mean the lesser animals physiology may not be able to take this much chemical intrusion to their bodies...further studies must be made...

sometimes pet like dogs and cats are valued like they are part of the family. This is a good idea increasing the life of our pet we may spend a lot of time. but, is this really safe for them? i also think further studies should be done.

Yeah, its a good idea. Dogs and cats is indeed often treated as a family. Specially dogs, because they are very loyal to their master. They also take away your bad moods when they're around.

I always feel bad when my dog is gone.
