Growing bacteria in the laboratoryHow do we grow bacteria in the laboratory?
Thanks.
Re: Growing bacteria in the laboratoryif you want to use known bacteria then get your hands on some ecoli and swab it on an agar plate or just wipe your arm pits with a cotton bud and wipe it on the agar plate you'll be suprised what turns up.
Suggest you get a little practical help/training rather than jumping immediatly into agar plates, E. coli and swabbing arm pits. Unlikely that you'll generate any risky situations but a little intial training can take you beyond "gee whiz" to learning something.
Re:
wow are you serious we are trying to help this person and you are being completely obnoxious. try being nice for a change.
They grow the in the same way as in nature.
They eat (take up) nutrients, produce proteins, replicate their DNA and divide. Very efficient.
