CULTIVAR RESISTANT FOR LATE BLIGHT OF POTATO

phytophthora infestans is having many races,if we develop an race specific resistant(qualitative/vertical) cultivar ,that may become susceptible for same race in shorter period.so we have to develop a cultivar with quantitative/horizontal resistance ,this resistance is governed by many genes and it is durable resistance but it wont give complete resistance,for screening general resistance we need R gene free cultivar,and it should be resistant against new race US-8...SO PLEASE SUGGEST WHICH IS WIDELY USED CULTIVAR FOR BREEDING PROGRAMMS , RESISTANT TO US-8 AND HAVE HIGH QUANTITATIVE/DURABLE/FIELD RESISTANCE.........
