Cloninig methodology for Recombinant L-asparaginase II

Dear friends
Iam working on making an e.coli based clone for producing L-asparaginase using r-DNA technology.
Iam succusfull in making the gene & the vector. But the expression levels are good at 0.6 -1.0 O.D ONLY.
Can anyone suggest me for a better vector & host for expressing the same.

we can hardly suggest something better, if we don't know current status. Are there any articles describing cloning of that gene?

This is common and fairly normal. Why is it a problem for you?
